When we open our big glass doors in summer the interior and the terrace become one. The terrace has a roof, so it is (almost always) possible to eat outside from May until September.
Nevertheless, there is also the interior. The wooden walls, the comfortable corner bench, the heavy table and the “Herrgottswinkel”, the corner with the crucifix, are all characteristic elements. Just traditionally South Tyrolian.
Butter, cheese and milk comes from Algund’s creamery. The rolls are freshly baked at the bakery close by, jam made from South Tyrolian fruits, cold cuts from regional producers, home made spreads and Bircher muesli and eggs, naturally only from happy hens…
On top freshly roasted Italian coffee and a look in the morning paper, that’s what a vacation feels like! And all this without any packaging of course, to protect the environment.
External guests are welcome (29 Euros, we kindly request reservation)
You won’t find the term ¾ pension here, because that’s really not our thing. We said goodbye to the cake buffet, because it is liberating and sustainable. For those who can’t wait until dinner, we serve small dishes from our new bistro menu and homemade cakes until the late afternoon (not included). Or you try an original South Tyrol Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake) or choose one of the tasty dumpling dishes at one of the many alps in the vicinity.
Homemade cakes from 3 to 5 p.m (not included)
Free of gluten and lactose
We are happy to cater to special dietary requirements of our guests. Please, let us know when you make your booking with us.
The highlight of the day, or rather the evening: our gourmet menu of five to six courses, with options to choose from (also vegetarian)
Authentic, fresh, regional and Mediterranean. That characterizes our cuisine. Just as well we offer dumplings or authentically Italian pasta, simply South Tyrol.
External guests are welcome (58 Euros – we kindly request reservation)

“I drink champagne only on two occasions:Coco Chanel
When I’m in love and when I’m not”
Admittedly, it doesn’t always have to be champagne. Since we much rather like to drink the Italian version, the Franciacorta.
Let’s not keep it a secret: A fine glass of wine, or more, simply is part of a meal! Wine signifies the enjoyment of life and the special moments.
On our wine list you will find our favorite wines from South Tyrol and Italy, that are among the best in the world.
The amount of top wines from South Tyrolean vineyards and wineries is unique and so you will regularly find South Tyrolean wines at the top of the most important international wine guides.
To find the right wine for you from this, our dream team in matters of wine, Andrea and Gerd, our two sommeliers, will take care of it. But also our dad Egon will give you one or the other recomandation.
